 I used the shabby chic kit and Graphic 45 12 Days of Christmas 

I took the large piece of lace and cut in half length ways

then ruffled it with a straight stitch.  

 I did not gather it as much as you would if you was making a flower.

 I took the striped paper and glued it in place with hot glue on the ends 

Then I took the drops on ribbon from the shabby chic lit 

and glued it round the top of the jar.

 I then added the appliqué flower and glued it on top if a bit of 

green organza  for the tails.

 I then added some of  the G45 paper added it to a thick bit of card 

And added more lace round the edging. I took some gray board

 and added one of the pockets to it so it stood up then added a small doily

 and a few flowers to finish and some of the bling & 2 pearls from the shabby chic kit.

Before I forget I did not glue the jar down.
